World War 3 - Possibilities, Reasons, and Impact

Hello Friends! As we can see in the news and other related documents, Russia and Ukraine got involved in a war. Will this war be world war three or not? What happens if it takes a gigantic look? How do the countries going to tackle it? All these types of questions are running in everybody's mind right now. But we don't know what will be the results of our thinking. In this blog, we will discuss all this.

Possibilities of its happening:

As we know, Russia had attacked Ukraine on the 24th February 2022 at 3:30 AM. We can not say anything so sure about its happening, but we pray that it should stop here as many innocent people will lose their lives. Russian President Vladimir Putin had threatened the other countries if they try to involve in it, they have to face the consequences. This statement leads to its happening somewhat.

Reasons for this attack:

Russia has many reasons to invade Ukraine. The main reason is not to allow it to have a place in NATO(North Atlantic Treaty Organization). It is an intergovernmental military alliance between 28 European countries and 2 North American countries. Following are the main reasons for this invasion:

1. Ukraine has become the bone of contention between Washington and Moscow.
2. Russia wants the West to keep Ukraine and other former Soviet nations out of NATO, halt weapons deployments near Russian borders and roll back forces from Eastern Europe.
3. Ukraine wants to join NATO, which has not gone well with Russia.
4. According to Russia, if Ukraine joins NATO, the group would move closer to Russia's borders.
5. If Ukraine joins NATO, then eligible to get support from the group's members on external attacks.
6. So, Russia believes Ukraine could attempt to take back Crimea if it joins NATO. Putin too expressed his concerns in this regard recently.
7. Hence, Russia demands the West to stay out of Ukraine as Putin wants to restore Moscow's influence throughout the post-Soviet space.
8. Moreover, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia lost control of 14 former republics, including Ukraine.
9. Putin considers this tragic as both countries shared a single "historic and spiritual space."
10. The Russian President demands guarantees from the West and Ukraine that it will not join and that Ukraine demilitarises and become a neutral state.

So, from the above reasons, we can say that Russia does not want Ukraine to be a member of NATO and will be invading it continuously.

Impact of this war:

War is never in favor of citizens of the country which is getting invaded. Not only the army but the citizens also have to face many things. Following are some impacts of this invasion:

1. Loss of lives of civilians happens during wartime. These are innocent people who have to face much during this.
2. Loss of buildings occurs as many buildings drowned when bombs blasted.
3. Uncurable diseases spread after the war because of pollution and radiation from atom bombs and nuclear explosives.
4. Deafness in newborn babies as they are sensitive and bomb explosions cause damage to their ears.
5. Share market and the economy get either sudden fall or sudden hike in prices.

In the end, we say that we should use peace to solve a matter instead of violence. War causes unexpected damage to the world, which is also unrecoverable. The economy goes down, and it takes much time to get back on track. Try to avoid war, live in peace, and let live.
